The workshop was bought by Michael Kosev in early 2019, who rebranded the garage from Performance Red into Gas Junky Motorcycles. The idea was to let people in Cheltenham know that this was a new place under new ownership, and the service given is now on a different level.

Meet The Owner
Hello, I’m Michael. My interest for motorbikes started about 12 years ago when I saw my cousin doing wheelies. Soon after, I sold my brand-new computer and bought my first bike! During the next year, I turned my parents’ garage into a motorcycle workshop and started fixing bikes in the neighbourhood. After graduating university with a Maritime Navigation Degree, I spent one year at sea, but decided that motorcycles were my true passion.
In 2017 I was on holiday in Cheltenham and decided to apply for a job at Performance Red. Less than 2 years later, I have taken over the workshop, rebranding it as Gas Junky Motorcycles, giving it new energy and vision.
My Workshop
The workshop is laid out so three working bays are distinguished in order to accommodate up to three motorcycles for repairs without interruptions. In addition, situated at the back of the workshop is the equipment used for restorations and fabrications including shot blasting cabinets, workbenches, and a welding bay. On the mezzanine is my meeting and beer place, after I am done fixing bikes for the day of course!
